iAd, Not so Smooth Sailing

"iAd. The very mention of the Apple-branded advertising platform a few months ago brought about cheers and jeers alike for the company. As we have moved through the time following the announcement, many have profited but still more are standing on their soap boxes and whining loudly about a number of issues surrounding the product."
This reminds me of the cut-and-paste-delay, and the complaints that were so prevalent about it. But it turned out the reason for the delay was Apple wanting to do it right the first time, and that seems to be the issue here. Those who are participating seem happy with the results, and I think if the advertisers are patient enough to work within the system (unlike Chanel for example), they will be pleased with the results. Time will tell, but Apple knows what works, at least they have proven it in my mind so far. What are your thoughts? Do you think at some point advertisers will wash their hands of iAd or will they be patient enough to participate?
