iPhone 4 Will Be Sold Unlocked in Canada

"...following yesterday's shock victory for the jailbreaking community in the US, in comes more news saying the non-open days of the iPhone may be slowly coming to a close -- the iPhone 4 will be sold unlocked in Canada when it goes on sale on Friday."
In Canada, users will have their choice between Rogers, Telus and Bell as carrier. As a result, the iPhone 4 will be sold unlocked in Apple Stores so that users can choose their own carrier. They'll also be able to pull the SIM and replace it with another if they travel through countries that support GSM, which means they'll avoid roaming charges. Canadian iPhone 4 owners will also be able to switch providers. The catch: buying the phone unlocked means buying it unsubsidized. The 16 GB model will cost $659, and the 32 GB model will be $779. Are any of our Canadian readers planning on buying the iPhone 4 unlocked?
