C4 Conference Cancelled

"New restrictions that Apple added to its iPhone software developer kit have led an independent programmer to cancel a conference devoted to Mac programming and computer science."
Bottom line Apple is going to do things they way they want to do them, so you either work with them or you quit and go home. Jonathan Rentzsch got tired of trying to work with them and packed it up and went home. I can understand being frustrated when you think you have an idea of how something should work, yet your ideas fall on deaf ears. It also appears, at least from what I read in his post on this, that he is upset that more of his fellow Apple programming friends weren't upset like he was about some wording in the iPhone OS 4.0 SDK, specifically section 3.3.1. So rather than beat his head against the wall when they didn't want to do it his way, he decided to stop bruising his forehead and discontinue the conference. Maybe he should have just taken a "time out" and worked at it from another angle instead of throwing a fit. At least that is what I get out of this, what are your thoughts?
