Adobe Releases Creative Suite 5
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 01:30 PM
"Adobe on Friday announced that its anticipated Creative Suite 5 product family is now available, with more than 250 new features and, for the first time ever, native 64-bit support for Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects."
This release makes it an Intel only, 64-bit Cocoa based program primed for OS X. This release will also include the services (free for a limited time) of Adobe CS Live, which is a set of five online services to assist in "creating your best work." It appears they are adding subscription services to their Creative Suite lineup with this release. I don't know a lot about these programs, they are priced out of my range, but from what I have been reading they have really added a lot of features. I would hope so for price ranges from roughly $1,800.00 USD to $2,500.00 USD. Any of you experienced in the use of these products? If so what are our thoughts about what they have brought to market?
