iTunes Wasn't the Only Update Yesterday
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 08:00 AM
"In the midst of all the hoopla over iTunes 9.1 yesterday, Apple quietly snuck a few other updates out the door."
They also provided the iPhone Configuration Utility 2.2 for Mac OS X, QuickTime for Leopard 7.6.6 and Quicktime for Windows 7.6.6. The iPhone update does a few things, such as letting you "create, maintain, encrypt, and install configuration profiles, track and install provisioning profiles and authorized applications, and capture device information including console logs." The other two, for QuickTime, take care of "reliability issues and security, along with some reliability improvements for iMovie." Oh, and lest I forget, there was also an iPhoto update to 8.1.2.
