Apple Thoughts: Pizza Hut a Hit on the iPhone

"With more and more companies launching iPhone apps in parallel to their printed or TV campaigns it looks like the App Store definitely entered marketers' tool kits."

And it has paid off for Pizza Hut, generating over a million dollars in sales since it debuted three months ago in the iTunes store. I'm sure they could have just as easily dialed up Pizza Hut but why not use the app, I have it and while it is fairly simple, it gets the job done. Wonder if Domino's is next?
