NaNoWriMo and Scrivener

"After my post about NaNoWriMo preparation the other day, a couple of TUAW readers pointed out that Literature and Latte, the folks behind Scrivener 1.52, have a special deal going on for NaNoWriMo 2009 participants."
For those of you not familiar, NaNoWriMo is a yearly "contest" in which participants have 30 days to write a 50,000 word novel, where the only prize is the satisfaction of knowing you completed it. Oh, and if you are so inclined, you can also contribute to a charitable cause. In conjunction with this event, Scrivener is offering their program for use during the competition and extending the normally 30-day free trial to December 7th, to give participants plenty of time to get full use out of the program before buying. And if you actually reach the 50,000 mark, you can buy Scrivener on December 2nd at 50% discount from their normal $39.95 USD price! Of course if you work it out the hourly earning for it isn't so hot but who wants to put a price tag on fun, right? If you don't reach the mark you can still get 20% off by using the promo code NANOWRIMO.
