Create Your Own Software Bundle for Charity
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 11:00 AM
"Seth Dillingham is once again riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge and is selling a plethora of Mac software to "sponsor" his ride. Anything you spend on the software gets donated directly to the PMC, which supports the Dana Farber Cancer Institute."
Simple enough, head over to his website and pick the software you like from his long list of donated software. Then place a bid on the software, and if he accepts, you get the code and the charity gets the money. There are limits on how many are available (when I checked there was one copy of BBedit available and 15 copies of Cover Sutra and 1Password was sold out), and the programs range from Office for Mac to iPhone/iPod Touch apps. All funds go to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Massachusetts.
