Eye-Fi Geo for Your Geotagging Needs
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 12:00 PM
"Although it isn't true GPS like the iPhone 3G has (and possibly the unannounced iPod touch), Eye-Fi is now offering Apple's iPhoto users a way to organize their pictures in Places without having a GPS-enabled camera."
Basically it geotags the photos so you don't have to do it later, allowing iPhoto's "Places" plot it on a map for you. Handy if you don't already have a device that tags your photos, such as an iPhone. You can also upgrade it for a $9.99 USD yearly fee so you can share the photos online at a variety of sites, including MobileMe, of course.
