Learn About Aliases
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 12:00 PM
"Aliases in Mac OS X are essentially equivalent to shortcuts in the Windows world. They work by creating a link to an original file located somewhere on your Mac or network and maintain the link even if the original is moved or renamed."
I never took any formal classes or training when I started using Macs, and I'll wager a lot of you didn't either. I always like to find quick tip articles on things that I think are useful in my daily use of my Mac and this is one of them. The article gets right to the point in clear language, on how to use aliases with your Mac.
