No More Belittling The iPhone Camera
Posted by Vincent Ferrari in "Apple iPhone & iPod Touch" @ 09:00 AM
"This weekend I tried to take a few more photos than normal to get a feel for what the new camera in the iPhone 3G S is capable of. I'm quite pleasantly surprised at the results. I did run most of these through some quick post adjustments in iPhoto, so take 'em with that grain of salt. (also, the colour is a lot better in a browser that supports image colour profiles, basically just Firefox 3 and Safari at the moment.)"
I'd say that Apple pretty much quieted the (rightful) critics that the last two iPhone cameras were utter crap. There's an axiom in photography that says that the best camera is the one you have on you and it's nice to see that, for most purposes, the iPhone's camera is now adequate for doing more than taking snapshots for Facebook. The gallery in its full-sized glory can be found at the link below. It's pretty impressive.
