Apple Thoughts: NBC Unleashes Hulu Desktop App

"NBC's online video site, Hulu, has launched a desktop app that allows Mac users to watch Hulu content without using a web browser, and with full Apple Remote support. After all of the boxee nastiness, I'm a bit surprised by the development. That doesn't mean this isn't still exciting."

I just downloaded this on my MBP, and I must say it works great! Love the clean interface and it is very responsive. You do have to manually turn off any screen savers, but the Apple Remote works perfectly with it. Hulu has a version for Windows and one for Macs, so either way you are covered. I don't use Hulu a lot, typically for a few shows like Parks and Recreation or Fight Girls, shows that I can't get on my DVR for various reasons. Now when I use it, the viewing experience is going to be so much nicer.
