"JD Power and Associates released the results of their annual Consumer Smartphone Survey with the iPhone running the table in five of the six categories. The iPhone's battery was the only category that it didn't lead/get a perfect score. iPhone also won in the business category earlier this year."
According to the survey results, Apple has high score of 791, followed by LG at 772 and Samsung at 759. The report says that "Apple ranks highest among smartphone manufacturers with a score of 791, performing particularly well in ease of operation, operating system, features and physical design." Interesting to note that in the traditional handset category, LG had the highest ranking with 733, followed by Sony Ericsson with 712. Apple also won a similar award from JD Power in Canada in 2008, but that appears to include traditional handsets.
