Simplify Your Desktop With Simplifi
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple iPhone & iPod Touch" @ 10:00 AM
"Griffin Technology's Simplifi iPod dock is probably the most useful iPod dock I've ever seen. If you have both a digital camera and an iPod or iPhone, you may want to take a look at the Simplifi. The Simplifi dock is nicely designed, and it fits in with Apple products a lot better than Apple's own Universal Dock. Brushed aluminum with white inserts on the front and back. On the top is the dock connector, and in the box are inserts for several different iPods. The included inserts work with the iPod Classics, 2nd & 3rd gen Nanos, 5th Gen iPod with video, iPhones and iPod Touches."
This looks like a nice accessory from Griffin, especially since you can also plug in USB accessories such as keyboards, cameras and basically anything that is USB 2.0 compatible. They also ship it with an AC adapter in case one of your USB devices needs a powered port. Currently I use just a cable to sync/charge my iPhones at the desktop we use, so this would fit nicely into the mix. The best part is for a limited time the price is $34.99 USD, less than half the normal price of $69.99 USD (and still cheaper than the Apple dock which is priced at $49.00 USD). It is also cheaper than the price they have at Amazon.com at $43.53 USD, but of course Amazon.com offers free shipping. Unknown how long the sale will last, but it is available at the Griffin Technology website.
