Apple Thoughts: Don't Be Alarmed if an iPhone Passes You Bostonians

"TUAW regulars probably remember our post about a reader in Tokyo who strapped an iPhone to his hat and used Qik to livestream the Tokyo Marathon. Well, now we're about to see an iPhone run the Boston Marathon."

The runner is Jason Jacobs, a developer for the program running on his chest called "Runkeeper." He worked with a social media class at Emerson College to come up with this promotional idea. If he doesn't win, he can always keep it and use if for halloween this year. The apps he is promoting are the RunKeeper Apps, free and pro version, that are available in the iTunes Store. Great looking costume, hope someone doesn't try to hit his "stop" button, that could be painful.
