Apple Thoughts: Apple Updates iTunes to 8.1.1

"Apple today released an update for iTunes, bringing the version number to 8.1.1. The new version (currently available from Software Update) supposedly fixes syncing issues with the iPhone and iPod touch (which I've been lucky enough not to encounter) and with VoiceOver, the we-don't-need-no-stinkin'-display substitute for the iPod Shuffle."

I'm wondering if this will fix the HDCP encryption problem in iTunes 8.1 as reported in this iLounge article? I've also read a couple posts from some that have updated to this version, and they report syncing problems with their iPhone. I have yet to do the update so I can't confirm this for sure, so heads up folks!
