Facebook Connect for the iPhone

"The biggest Facebook news is that Facebook Connect, with more than 6,000 websites already taping into user data, has come to the iPhone. Now all iPhone developers can use Facebook Connect to have their apps leverage the profile, friends, and feed data available for users via Facebook. The glorious advantage for all of us users is that now we can connect with our Facebook network while playing or using our favorite apps and games."
Facebook Connect was introduced in the Summer of 2008, and has finally come to the iPhone (and iPod Touch), which is the only smartphone with the capability. There are several iPhone apps that are live with Facebook Connect already, among them are Urbanspoon, Whrrl and Flixster.
I like the integration that Facebook uses for some of my other apps, so I am interested in how this is going to work on the iPhone. I don't think I will be playing too many, if any, games from the Facebook page, but will use some of the social networking apps. I also expect there will be many more apps that are adapted for use with Facebook Connect to try and tap into the user base of over 175 million users. You can check out more details on Facebook's blog.
