Want a Job at an Apple Store?
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple News" @ 10:00 AM
"Apple has created a new job position for its retail stores that will fill a double role of service and training. The new Family Room Specialist will eventually be an entry-level position, although initially it's being filled by applications from existing employees."

This position is going to be mid-way between the "Specialist" and the "Genius/Creative" positions, and expect that up to 75% of the iPod/iPhone appointments are going to be handled by this new position. I checked out the US Job Postings page on Apple but didn't see it posted, however, I checked out a listing at SimplyHired.com and they have a job posting for a Project Manager for Apple. Part of the duties of that position are "managing and implementing communication for the retail store audience in support of the retail Apple Store's Family Room programs and teams." So maybe they will post the position soon as they get someone to run the program itself, which seems to make sense.
