Ustream App Arrives in Time For Inauguration
Posted by Vincent Ferrari in "Apple iPhone & iPod Touch" @ 08:00 AM
"The Ustream iPhone Viewing Application was pending approval from Apple and was approved in time for the inauguration. Now any iPhone owner can watch the inauguration from their iPhone. Presently, the Ustream iPhone Viewing Application is WiFi only to ensure the highest quality broadcast on the iPhone, but stay tuned for developments. "Ustream is excited to join the app store and bring a great application to the iPhone. Now iPhone users can watch and chat with any Ustream show directly from their iPhone. So now, wherever you are, you can be part of the global community around shared live experiences." John Ham, Founder and CEO of Ustream."
This is awesome news for those of you who can't get in front of a television, radio, the internet, sms, Twitter, Facebook, Friendfeed, or any of the other 30,000 places you'll be able to catch every waking breath of the inauguration.
Okay, seriously, though, this is pretty cool if you're a fan of Ustream. Me? I'm not really interested in watching; I want to see who wins the "broadcast" race between Ustream and Qik and who gets their app approved first.
