Apple to Build Data Center in Oregon
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple News" @ 09:30 AM
"Apple confirmed plans to build a data center in Pineville Prineville, Oregon following the release of a land purchase report from Crook County. The company was first rumored to be considering the location in December 2011."
Great deal for Oregon, and Apple didn't do too bad either since they paid $5.6 million for 160 acres. And it doesn't hurt that Facebook has a similar facility close by, to give them a good idea on how it is to work with this community. You can read more about it at the KTVZ website.
