Use Prey to Track Your Stolen Laptop...Free!

This is an open source project, so you don't pay a dime for it. The reviewer gives it good marks and has some tips in case you do install it, so it is definitely worth the read if you want to provide some extra protection for your laptop. If you keep everything on yours like I do mine, any help is appreciated, especially when it's free! And you can always add features via their Pro Plans if the free version isn't to your liking.
