Have You Considered a Refurbished Mac?

"Maybe you're a college student. Maybe you're one of America's vast numbers of un- and under-employed workers. Maybe you're simply frugal. Whatever the case, the situation facing you is this: You're on a budget, you need a new computer, but even with limited cash you'd rather not buy an inexpensive Windows-based PC-you're an Apple fan and don't want to switch. What to do?"
One obvious solution is, of course, to go the refurb route and check out the savings you can get, usually 10 to 20 % off the original prices. Sometimes you can get more, if you are lucky, but all come with the standard warranty as well as the optional Apple Care. I've purchased refurbished Macs in the past, and probably will do so in the future, and have yet to have a problem with any of them. They are basically new to be honest, so it's worth considering if you want to save a little cash. What are your thoughts? Ever purchased refurb?
