Apple to Issue Refunds on Request for Unhappy Final Cut Pro X Users

"TheNextWeb reports that Apple has begun returning the $299 purchase price of Final Cut Pro X to customers who are unsatisfied with the product's features and capabilities."
I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that these refunds will be for those that have used Final Cut Pro in previous versions, not from those that are new to the software. From all that I have read, while it is true that it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of previous versions of Final Cut Pro, it does make it easier for those with little or no experience to learn Final Cut Pro. So while current users could stick with the version they have and continue using it as is, newcomers to the program won't be faced with such a steep learning curve. I have never used it, but based on what I've read so far I'm thinking I might give it a go. What are your thoughts?
