TweetDeck Overhauled
Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad)" @ 09:00 AM
"TweetDeck, a popular cross-platform Twitter client based on Adobe AIR technology, has received a complete overhaul to address a number of user complaints. The app's rebuilt from the ground up and packs in a number of new features, including all major Twitter capabilities such as old and new style retweets, favorites, sending updates, direct messages and searching."
This is basically a new app, so you will need to download it fresh from the App Store versus updating what you are currently using. In fact, you won't even be able to find any of the old versions on iTunes since they have pulled them all and replaced them with this new one. There should be a new version coming out soon for the iPad also. This version takes advantage of the Retina Display as well as adding flexibility so you can create columns that have multiple sources, gesture additions, auto-shortening links using j.mp and built in Deck.ly support.
