This device can also be used with the iPhone 4, 4th generation iPod and the original iPad, although it will limit the output to 720p. If, however, you use it on the iPad 2, you will get 1080p streaming and also have the mirroring functionality. This handy adapter will be available on March 11th as well for around $40.00 USD. I'm thinking this is going to be one of those must buy items, especially if you want to make your iPad into a set top box for your TV.
