Apple Reveals Subscription Details

"Filling a gap that has long been a source of complaints for publishers of content-based apps, Apple has finally revealed details of a subscription service on its App Store for digital content including magazines, newspapers, video and music. Expectations of such an announcement rose two weeks ago following the launch of The Daily and the new subscription service will follow the same subscription model ushered in by News Corp.'s tablet-specific newspaper."
It certainly makes it easier, since the cost will be deducted right from your iTunes account. I use Zinio now for my subscriptions and it works pretty well. I'm wondering if publishers will find a way to make it as easy to subscribe on their own website since Apple charges 30% for the service. I guess we will see on June 30th this year how it is going to be received since that is the deadline for publishers to comply with the new terms. What are your thoughts on subscribing to newspapers and magazines via iTunes, bad? Good? Indifferent?
