Apple Thoughts: Take That, Rupert! 9,000 +1

"TechCrunch reports on the eve of News Corp's. The Daily launch that arch rival NYTimes is also releasing an iPad only daily news app called...wait for it...News.me."

I read somewhere that there are 9,000 news apps (can that be?) for iOS. Make it 9,001. News.me is yet another aggregator, and not a source of original news. Not much else is known at this time, but you can sign-up for email updates at news dot me, or follow them on twitter @newsdotme.
