Apple Thoughts: iPad Web Traffic Share to Reach 2%?

"How's this for a prediction? By the end of 2011, the iPad will generate more than two percent of all North American Web traffic."

I take statistics with a grain of salt if they don't come from a trusted source. Without seeing the actual data, and a discussion of the methods used, I have no real idea if this is true or not. It feels like something that could be true, but a whole lot could throw this off. For the most part, though, I think the estimate is probably too low. In order to make this calculation, they'd have to make a guess about the sales of next year's iPad. I suspect that they underestimated that number given the conclusion they reached. Of course, since I have no data to work with, my guess is as good as anybody else's.
