Is Your TV Lonely?

"Analytics firm Flurry has just published an interesting report showing how iOS apps-specifically those with social networking features-are affecting primetime TV viewership of American audiences. Should TV Networks be worried about this trend? Can the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad apps take away TV viewership? Let's take a look at some stats from Flurry's report."
19 million people use their apps on their iPhone at least 22 minutes a day, which, according to this report by Flurry, is right up there with most of the TV viewership for all programs except for American Idol. Interesting comparison, but I don't think this will replace TV. People love their favorite TV programs so they will always watch them. But I think the usage will go up, but in conjunction to the TV not as a replacement. What are your thoughts? How has, or hasn't your viewership of TV changed over the years?
